The project, called Rio Vista Residences, would rise on South Federal Highway. One tower would reach 28 stories and the other would reach 22 stories.

Plans include more than 570,000 square feet of construction and 841 parking spaces. The apartments would range from about 565 to 1,625 square feet.

Kushner is developing the property with Cain International, a global real estate investment company managing $14.6 billion.

Charles Kushner founded Kushner Companies in 1985. The family business owns and develops apartments, offices, hotels and retail properties across America, and this project would expand its growing presence in South Florida.
