The office tower sits directly across from the Broward County Courthouse in one of Fort Lauderdale’s busiest downtown areas.

Mana paid $89 million for the building, well below the $112.9 million the previous owner paid in 2016. He also secured about $66 million in financing for the deal.

Mana is already one of the biggest property owners in downtown Miami, where he controls dozens of buildings and has spent years assembling a huge portfolio.

Now he is pushing deeper into Fort Lauderdale with one of the city’s biggest office purchases of the year.
