Orthodox Jewish Real Estate Developer David Bistricer Sells Newly Built Williamsburg Luxury Apartment Building For $122.5 Million

Bistricer’s Clipper Equity sold Casa Hope, its luxury rental building at 130 Hope Street in Williamsburg, to New York developer Mann Group.

Clipper completed the property in 2023. Its apartments range from studios to three bedrooms, with one-bedroom units starting at approximately $4,700 per month. The building also secured a valuable 35-year property-tax reduction that has more than three decades remaining.

Clipper previously obtained an $85 million refinancing on the property. The $122.5 million represents the building’s total sale price, not Bistricer’s personal profit.

Bistricer’s Orthodox Jewish family entered New York real estate during the 1950s. More than 70 years later, the family business continues completing nine-figure deals across the city.
