Jewish siblings Dario and Daniela Amodei, who lead Anthropic, the company behind Claude, are building a political team that plans to brief Republican and Democratic presidential candidates on artificial intelligence ahead of the 2028 election.
Anthropic is offering up to $345,000 a year for someone to run the effort, explain AI issues to candidates and their advisers, and prepare its executives for those conversations. The team will also help manage political donations and build relationships with both parties.
Dario is CEO and Daniela is president, putting the siblings behind one of America’s biggest AI businesses as they seek a voice in the decisions that will shape its future. The program is still being built, with no participating candidates announced.
