The European Commission said countries including Germany, France, Italy, Spain, the United Kingdom, Japan, Switzerland, Sweden, Belgium, the Netherlands, Norway, Finland and the World Bank have already pledged funding, with additional countries expected to join in the coming months.

The conference also addressed the Palestinian Authority’s financial crisis and called for additional international cooperation to support Gaza’s long-term recovery and economic stability.
