The lawsuit points to major examples, including the Times’ early coverage of the Al-Ahli hospital explosion, where the paper later acknowledged it had relied too heavily on Hamas claims. It also cites the front-page photo of a malnourished Gaza child described as having been born healthy, even though earlier reporting showed he had serious preexisting medical conditions. The Times later revised that story.

Florida and another shareholder are now asking a judge to force the Times to show how those stories were approved, corrected and overseen internally.

A former Jewish Times employee also says she repeatedly raised concerns about anti-Israel bias and antisemitism inside the company.

The Times says the lawsuit has no merit and denies the allegations.
