Milei visited Yeshiva Darchei Torah in Far Rockaway, where he spoke to students, received the school’s “Ohev Yisrael” or “Lover of Israel” award, and was filmed dancing with students on his way out.
The award recognized Milei’s outspoken support for Israel and the Jewish community, something he has made a major part of his presidency.
The visit came during his official New York trip for the UN, but instead of keeping the schedule purely political, Milei made time for a direct stop with Jewish students.
For one of the world’s most openly pro-Israel presidents, it was another very public show of where he stands.
