The software giant, led by Jewish billionaire Marc Benioff, closed more than 22% higher Thursday. The jump came after Salesforce reported $11.35 billion in quarterly revenue and raised its expectations for the full year.

The biggest story was AI. Revenue connected to Salesforce’s Agentforce and Data 360 products climbed more than 210% from a year earlier to nearly $3.9 billion, meaning that part of the business more than tripled.

Salesforce also announced a deeper partnership with Anthropic, the company behind Claude. The companies are working together to bring Claude’s AI models directly into Salesforce, allowing businesses to use AI alongside their customer information and everyday work.

Salesforce now expects to bring in roughly $46.1 billion to $46.4 billion this year. The massive stock jump showed investors are becoming more confident that Benioff can turn Salesforce’s huge customer base into a major AI business.
