The group backed by BlackRock and IFM Investors has entered exclusive talks for Stack Infrastructure’s operations across markets including Japan and Australia.
These are the massive facilities that hold the servers and computing power behind AI, cloud services and some of the world’s biggest technology companies.
The timing is huge. AI companies are racing to secure more computing power, turning data centers into some of the most valuable infrastructure in the world.
If completed, the deal would put Fink’s BlackRock-backed group behind one of the biggest data center networks in Asia and mark another massive move into the physical infrastructure powering the global AI boom.
