The company had been close to a deal with Nvidia, but a larger offer reportedly entered the picture. Elon Musk’s SpaceX is believed to be one of the possible buyers, while Amazon and Israeli-based cloud company Nebius are also said to be interested.
Decart was founded in 2023 by Dean Leitersdorf and Moshe Shalev and has grown at a crazy pace. Just three months ago, the company raised $300 million at a $4 billion valuation. It has raised about $450 million in total and still employs only around 100 people.
The startup became known for building AI that can generate video in real time at much lower costs than many competing systems. Its Oasis project reached 1 million users in just three days, and Elon Musk publicly reacted to it with a simple “wow.”
If SpaceX ends up buying Decart, the deal could have an even bigger impact on Israel. The company could reportedly use Decart to open its first research and development center in Tel Aviv, bringing another major global tech operation into the country.
A sale at $6 billion or more would make Decart one of the biggest and fastest exits in Israeli tech history, turning a company founded by two Israeli military tech veterans into a multibillion-dollar global AI prize in less than three years.
