The company’s technology was selected by more than 20 national, federal, state and local public safety agencies to detect and safely stop unauthorized drones without using signal jamming or physical force. Instead, EnforceAir takes control of rogue drones and safely lands them while allowing normal communications to continue.

D-Fend said the system was used throughout multiple World Cup host cities as part of one of the largest counter-drone security operations ever carried out during an international sporting event. Police departments in Atlanta, Cobb County, Pennsylvania and Mexico City were among the agencies that confirmed using the Israeli technology.

The company says its counter-drone platform has now been deployed thousands of times worldwide and is trusted by military, law enforcement, homeland security agencies and major international airports.

As drones become a growing security threat at large public events, the successful World Cup deployment marks another major international milestone for Israel’s rapidly expanding defense technology industry.
