The Jewish billionaire says Meta is building personal AI agents that could work for users 24 hours a day. These agents may eventually help people manage their money, improve their health, strengthen relationships and reach personal goals.
Zuckerberg wants the technology to be simple enough for billions of ordinary people to use immediately, without complicated instructions or technical knowledge. He believes personal AI agents could become the foundation of Meta’s next major products and new sources of income.
Meta already offers business AI agents through WhatsApp and Messenger, with more than one million businesses reportedly using them every week. The company is also preparing to bring these tools to Instagram.
The full $145 billion will not go only toward personal agents. It includes massive spending on data centers, computer chips and other technology needed to power Meta’s wider AI expansion.
