Tonight begins Tisha B’Av, the day Jews mourn the destruction of the Second Temple in Jerusalem. For almost two thousand years, Jewish communities across the world have continued to observe this day, fasting, praying, and remembering one of the most important moments in Jewish history.

It is remarkable that after nearly 2,000 years, millions of Jews still come together every year to honor the loss of the Temple and their connection to Jerusalem.

We wish everyone observing Tisha B’Av a meaningful and easy fast. צום קל.
