NVIDIA has launched a new AI research team in Israel to help accelerate drug discovery and medical breakthroughs.
The team is already operating within NVIDIA’s Israeli development center. The company plans to recruit dozens more researchers over the coming year.
Its projects include work with Sheba Medical Center and New York’s Mount Sinai Hospital to study human DNA, aiming to improve disease prevention, diagnosis and treatment.
Dr. Nati Daniel leads the group under Israeli chief technology officer Michael Kagan, who reports directly to CEO Jensen Huang.
