Electronic Arts, one of the world’s largest video game companies, has officially been sold in a $55 billion deal led by Saudi Arabia’s Public Investment Fund, together with Jewish investor Jared Kushner’s Affinity Partners and private equity firm Silver Lake. The acquisition ends EA’s 36-year run as a publicly traded company on Wall Street, with shareholders receiving $210 in cash for every share they own.
