OpenAI CEO Sam Altman revealed that he deleted TikTok after becoming addicted to the app while researching how people use short-form videos. Altman said he intentionally downloaded TikTok while OpenAI was developing its AI video app, Sora, because he wanted to understand what made the platform so engaging.
