Jewish billionaire Marc Benioff’s Salesforce says its AI agents have started conversations with customers that could lead to more than $88 million in additional sales, without needing to hire roughly 400 more employees to handle the initial contact.

Salesforce executive Itai Margalit said about 75% of the company’s 100 million customer leads previously received no response because its staff couldn’t reach everyone.

Now AI contacts those customers first and brings in a human salesperson when needed.

The $88 million represents possible sales from those conversations. Salesforce hasn’t disclosed how much has turned into completed deals or the period covered.
