Jewish billionaire Larry Ellison’s Oracle is continuing to recruit workers in Israel while cutting jobs elsewhere, with a new report showing 33 openings across its Israeli operation, including engineering and cloud technology roles.
Oracle’s worldwide workforce fell by around 21,000 employees during its financial year ending in May 2026. The company is now planning another 70 job cuts in Ireland as it reduces costs and pours billions into AI infrastructure and data centers.
In Israel, where Oracle reportedly employs around 400–500 people, no significant recent layoffs are known. Its advertised positions include work on cloud networks and a senior technical operations role in Petah Tikva.
