Ackman argues that if people had seen the footage early, they would have better understood the scale and brutality of the Ham*s attack before global opinion shifted toward the war in Gaza.
Israel instead kept much of the most graphic footage restricted, showing compiled videos mainly to journalists, lawmakers, diplomats and selected audiences. Ackman himself helped organize a screening at Harvard after the attack.
He has since become one of the most outspoken Jewish business figures supporting Israel and fighting antisemitism, including on U.S. college campuses.
