Finland has renewed its defense agreement with Israel through 2034, allowing both countries to continue working together on military research, weapons development and purchases. They currently have 23 joint defense projects.

Left-wing politicians attacked the government for renewing the deal, but Finland’s defense minister defended the decision, saying the country wants the best air-defense technology available. The agreement was renewed quietly without a public announcement.
