Ondas is building a large military technology company that combines drones, intelligence systems, robotics, counter-drone technology and artificial intelligence. The company has spent more than $1 billion buying defense businesses across Israel, America and Europe.

Its largest deal was the $876 million purchase of DZYNE Technologies. Ondas also bought Israeli military software company Omnisys for about $200 million and Scotland-based Cyberhawk for approximately $125 million.

Barnea led Mossad from 2021 until 2026 and brings nearly 30 years of Israeli intelligence and national security experience. He will help Ondas expand internationally, work with governments and combine its different defense companies into one platform.

Ondas now expects to generate at least $525 million in revenue this year and recently announced more than $70 million in new military orders, as demand for AI-powered Israeli defense technology continues growing worldwide.
