The new facility is three times larger than Nvidia’s previous Beersheba office, covering approximately 3,000 square meters. The company has already placed more than 150 employees at the site and plans to hire hundreds more engineers and technology professionals in the coming years.
According to reports, Nvidia invested tens of millions of shekels in the expansion and signed a 10-year lease for the new facility.
The Beersheba center develops advanced hardware and software that help connect thousands of AI chips and processors, making it possible to train and operate some of the world’s most powerful artificial intelligence models.
The company now employs more than 6,000 people across five research and development centers throughout Israel, making Nvidia one of the country’s largest private technology employers.
“Nvidia’s Beersheba R&D center was founded out of a deep belief in local talent,” the company said, adding that the expansion reflects its long-term commitment to Israel, strengthening engineering education and developing groundbreaking AI technologies that place its Israeli operations at the heart of the global AI revolution.
