Jewish billionaire Mark Zuckerberg’s new AI assistant could bring Meta more than $27 billion a year by 2030, according to a new Citigroup estimate.
Called Muse, the assistant helps people search online, compare options and make purchases. Citi expects most of the money to come from those transactions, with roughly $23 billion in annual revenue from purchases and another $4.5 billion from paid subscriptions.
The bank says Muse has already passed 6.6 million downloads and reached 1.8 million daily users since launching last month.
That could give Zuckerberg another major business alongside Facebook, Instagram and WhatsApp, although the $27 billion remains a forecast for 2030 rather than money Meta is already collecting.
