The Jewish billionaires behind Wiz’s $32 billion sale to Google are nearing a deal to take over McDonald’s Israel.
Assaf Rappaport and fellow founders Yinon Costica, Ami Luttwak and Roy Reznik are in final-stage talks for the rights to operate the chain’s Israeli business, Calcalist reports. The deal has not been signed.
The operation had 235 restaurants at the end of 2025. Its franchise rights have been valued at an estimated $200 million–$300 million, though a final price hasn’t been announced.
Google completed its Wiz acquisition in March. The proposed McDonald’s deal would take the founders from protecting businesses online to running one of Israel’s largest restaurant chains.
