CNN, part of the media company led by Jewish businessman David Ellison, has signed a multiyear agreement with Google that pays the network for using its journalism in AI products.
CNN confirmed the partnership gives Google expanded rights to its reporting while the companies test new ways for people to discover and read news. The price was not disclosed.
The network joins more than 400 publications in Google’s paid AI news program, including the Financial Times and Axios. Google says the features will credit publishers and link directly to their reporting.
